New ULI Colorado report tackles gentrification and involuntary displacement

With Denver Metro housing costs soaring, concerns about displacement and its discontents have also surged. In March, ULI Colorado convened 100 Denver-area leaders to discuss viable solutions. DURA Director Tracy Huggins named to lead ULI Colorado into 2019

Tracy Huggins, the executive director of the Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA), became the new chair of Urban Land Institute (ULI) Colorado on July 1. Huggins was named vice chair in 2015 and will serve as chair of a 25-member executive committee until June 30, 2019.                 Huggins directs the agency’s involvement in redevelopment with combined DURA financing of close to $643 million, leveraging $7 billion in private investment.
