Come meet Roxane White, Innovator-in-Residence at The Aspen Institute and former Chief of Staff to Governor and Mayor John Hickenlooper

Roxane White is a member of the Ascend at the Aspen Institute team, serving as the Morgridge Family Economic Security Innovator in Residence. Before this, she was the chief executive officer of Nurse-Family Partnership, where she led innovation and growth of the evidence-based home visitation program, which serves parents and children in over 40 states and six Tribal Nations. While at Nurse-Family Partnership, she created the first maternal and child health pay for success project in the United States, expanded its reach, and secured a major investment from Blue Meridian Partners. From 2009 to 2014, she served as chief of staff to John Hickenlooper, both during his time as mayor of Denver and governor of Colorado, when she led innovations in homelessness, prison reform, Medicaid, and child welfare. From 2003 to 2008, she led the Denver Department of Human Services. She also spent 20 years working with homeless youth. Roxane serves as a Trustee for the Rose Community Foundation and the Garrett Evangelical Seminary and chaired Denver’s 2017 successful General Obligation community process.   She is the parent and foster parent of wonderful adult children and enjoys hiking and snowshoeing.
