Leading a global team of planning and landscape architecture professionals, Kaia focuses on how they design transformative projects and develop strategies for city resiliency, green infrastructure and healthy and sustainable communities. With a background in engineering, landscape architecture and strategic planning, she brings a passion for problem solving, healthy placemaking and smart city development.

Kaia Nesbitt is also ULI Colorado's District Council Chair. Committed to the Urban Land Institute’s mission to provide leadership in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide, she serves as District Council Chair of ULI Colorado, ULI’s National Community Development Product Council and the ULI Women’s Leadership Initiative.
