ULI Colorado - Exploring Affordable Housing: A Walking Tour Highlighting Affordable Housing Opportunities in Denver’s Cap Hill Neighborhood
Join us as we walk the streets of Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood and explore different examples of affordable and attainable housing opportunities in one of Denver’s most historic and socioeconomically diverse neighborhoods. Tour highlights include:
- A private showing of Mile High Development’s and Brinshore Development’s newest affordable housing property, Capitol Square; and an exclusive, intimate conversation with Gorman & Company describing the redevelopment of their affordable housing project, the Colburn Hotel.
- A private tour of a local couple's original 1906 carriage house turned ADU. Everything you need to know about the ADU process from developer Jeff Baker.
- Viewing examples of older buildings that offer affordable and obtainable housing opportunities due to natural economic forces and a presentation by Historic Denver about the fascinating history of Capitol Hill from a real estate perspective.
