    In this timely event, ULI Colorado, in partnership with the City of Boulder, will host a discussion about where the City is according to goals set forth in its Comprehensive Plan for affordable housing, smart growth, placemaking, and mobility and what we can do as a community to meet those goals.

    Keynotes by the Interim Planning Director for the City of Boulder and the President and CEO of the Boulder Chamber will be followed by a panel discussion featuring diverse perspectives, case studies, and solutions for ways to move forward as a community. The audience will have the opportunity to engage in discussion with the speakers about the future of Boulder and how we can work together to live up to our community’s values.

    5-5:20pm: Registration and networking
    5:20-5:25pm: Welcome from ULI Colorado
    5:25-5:40pm: Keynote address by Chris Meschuk, Interim Planning Director for the City of Boulder, on where Boulder is according to its vision in the Comprehensive Plan related to housing, growth, placemaking, and mobility.
    5:40-5:50pm: Keynote by John Tayer, President and CEO of the Boulder Chamber, on where Boulder is currently heading based on demographic and economic trends.
    5:50-6:15pm: Panel session on case studies and solutions for how Boulder can become what it has stated it wants to be in the city’s vision.
    6:15-7pm: Audience Q&A moderated by Darvin Ayre, Strategy & Public Engagement Consultant for Trestle Strategy Group
    7-8pm: Happy hour and networking in the Canyon Gallery

    Laura Sheinbaum, Director of Real Estate Development at Boulder Housing Partners, on affordable housing development in Boulder
    Danica Powell, Founder and Owner of Trestle Strategy Group, on development that provides community benefits in Boulder
    Jarvie Worcester, Managing Director for Trammell Crow Residential, on the development review process in Boulder and how it compares to other communities that seek similar community benefits
    Jeff Hohensee, PLAN-Boulder County Advisory Board member, on views against density in Boulder and alternative solutions for sustainable development
    Masyn Moyer, Housing Advisory Board member for the City of Boulder, on solutions for making Boulder more equitable
