You must be a ULI Member to be trained, it is important that all who register attend, as roles will be assigned to registrants. 

UrbanPlan is a hands-on educational workshop using realistic simulations where high school, university students, public officials, or community groups learn about urban development, land use and real estate by acting as development teams to solve urban challenges. As a volunteer, you learn the UrbanPlan curriculum and become trained to help facilitate workshops ULI Colorado does throughout the year for municipal staff, elected officials, students, and more. 

Benefits of becoming a volunteer:

• Professional Development: Volunteers can refine their communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills while gaining valuable leadership experience. The process of facilitating discussions or serving on a mock City Council draws heavily on real-world industry experience.
• Networking: Opportunities for networking are a key benefit, allowing volunteers to connect with local elected officials and like-minded peers across various disciplines in the real estate and land-use industries, including surveyors, architects, and developers.
