Sir Stuart Lipton is one of the best-known British property developers, a founder of Stanhope plc, and co-founder of the property company, Chelsfield. He is now a partner at Lipton Rogers Developments LLP. Having started as a commercial developer in the late 1960s, Sir Stuart has been responsible for over 40 million sq ft of development on some of the largest and most complex projects, including major infrastructure changes, complicated engineering solutions and high-rise buildings. Projects have included Broadgate; Stockley Park, Heathrow; Chiswick Park, HM Treasury; Central Saint Giles; and, 22 Bishopsgate, a 62-storey tower in the City of London. Sir Stuart was the founding Chairman of the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment and a member of the Royal Fine Art Commission.  He has been involved with, or been a board member of, the National Theatre, The Royal Opera House, The Tate Modern, Glyndebourne and other arts organisations.  Sir Stuart was Chairman of the City Finance Commission in 2011, Chairman of the independent review of Tottenham after the riots in 2011, a member of London Finance Commission in 2012 and a member of the Thames Estuary Growth Commission in 2017/18.

Ricky Burdett is a London-based urban specialist with a wide portfolio of academic and consultancy activities at an international scale. As Professor of Urban Studies he leads LSE Cities,a global centre of research and teaching at the London School of Economics and Political Science and founded the authoritative Urban Age programme. Burdett acts as a consultant to national and city governments, private companies and philanthropic agencies. He was chief adviser on the London 2012 Olympics, a member of the UK Government Airport Commission and acted as adviser to the Mayor of London. He sits on the jury for Royal Academy Architecture Prize and Dorfman Awards, and was chair of the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize 2018. Burdett was appointed a CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) for services to urban planning and design in 2017 and was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the Royal College of Art in 2019.

Robert Tincknell is a highly experienced leading real estate developer with significant, proven, large-scale property development and investment experience both in the UK and overseas spanning 30 years. Rob has completed a number of large scale mixed use developments such as Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth and Spencer Dock in Dublin. Rob also spent time in China where he moved and set up China Real Estate Opportunities plc, a 7m sqft investment and development vehicle successfully floated on LSE in 2007. He is however most known for his leadership of the renowned Battersea Power Station project where the team successfully achieved the largest planning consent ever granted in central London. The first phase completed in late 2017 and there is another 3.5m sqft under construction including the historic icon and an extension of London’s underground network. In 2018, after 10 years leading Battersea Power Station, Rob decided to start Areli Real Estate, a specialised development management and investment business. They now have a number of live projects in and around London that focused upon the challenges of UK town centre urban regeneration and repositioning.

As CEO, Tom has created a global family of integrated design businesses within Handley House. Once a stand-alone firm, Benoy now operates alongside Holmes Woodand Uncommon Land, benefiting from a range of complementary disciplines and collaborative opportunities. Tomhas also overseen the company’s shift into new service areas, including wider mixed-use and master planning schemes,and its expansion into new sectors,such as aviation. This strategic redirection has led to landmark project wins, such as Terminal 4 and JewelChangi Airport, Singapore; ICONSIAM, Thailand and Royalmount, Canada.Tom is hands-on and engaged in his role, working alongside clients to help them realise their ambitions. Drawing on his past experience, he understands and helps to bring together the core components of successful design solutions –solutions which deliver longevity and value for clients, shareholder sand wider stakeholders. When he’s not working, Tom enjoys spending time with his family and indulging his passion for sport on the golf course and tennis court. He also coaches at a local rugby club and holds a board advisory role at his beloved Nottingham Forest FC.

Nigel Smith is the managing director for Colliers Hong Kong, where he oversees the development and growth of the company and its people. Since arriving in Hong Kong in 1990, he has seen a number of changes and challenges, but these have never taken away from the passion, drive and perseverance in the people he meets, clients he advises and his colleagues. Nigel sits on several International Chamber committees, including AustCham’s WIBN and P&I committees. He is passionate about leveraging his knowledge to help drive change in the business world, especially when it comes to the workplace, diversity and wellness.
