Come learn from the experts analyzing local implications for the foremost global report on investment trends in all major asset classes, including housing, office, retail, industrial, capital markets and resorts. The annual ULI/PwC Emerging Trends in Real Estate report is based on hundreds of interviews and surveys with global leaders in land use and real estate. Colorado contributed to the 2022 report through focus groups held with our senior leaders and Young Leaders Group (YLG).

    An Emerging Trends favorite for years, Andy Warren delivers the date in a fast-paced, entertaining speech highlighting Colorado trends in context. As the Director of Real Estate Research, Andy monitors all aspects of real estate, including space market fundamentals, capital market trends, regulatory changes and operational developments. For several years, Andrew has co-authored the US and Canadian editions of Emerging Trends in Real Estate. Andrew is a frequent speaker on issues affecting the real estate market and has also authored numerous articles for internal clients and national real estate publications. Before his current role, Andy served as the Managing Director of Real Estate Research for Principal Global Investors, the fourth-largest institutional real estate manager in the U.S.

    facets of the platform’s services and performance in the region.
     
    As quick with a quick as a telling fact, Kevin has MCed and moderated ULI Colorado’s local response panel at one of our largest and most successful events for several years. A 35-year commercial real estate veteran, Kevin’s expertise includes finance, brokerage, project management and financial analysis. He drives staff development, training, recruiting and collaboration for Newmark’s more than 2,000 employees throughout the Western U.S. Additionally, Kevin has organizational oversight of Newmark’s offices across Central and South America and Canada. These 15 offices are located throughout Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Toronto and Vancouver. The Denver Business Journal Power Book has recognized Kevin as one of Denver’s most influential C-level executives and business leaders. His previous roles include Managing Director of the downtown Denver CBRE office, Senior Vice President at Trammell Crow Company and Regional Leasing Director for Jones Lang LaSalle.
     

    This year's Emerging Trends will be a hybrid event. In-person attendees must provide proof of vaccination at the event.

    The in-person event takes place in an exciting new venue and time: the Denver Art Museum’s new South Sturm Pavilion from 10am-12pm with networking boxed lunch afterward. Attendees of the event will receive free admission to the Denver Art Museum.

    Broker, AIA, and AICP Continuing Education Credits will be offered for the in-person event. The ULI team is working to secure credits for the virtual event.

    Andrew Warren, Andy, currently serves as the PwC’s Director of Real Estate Research. As the Director of Real Estate Research, and is responsible for monitoring all aspects of commercial and residential real estate, including space market fundamentals, capital market trends, regulatory changes and operational developments. For the past eight years, Andy has led PwC’s participation in the development and production of the Emerging Trends in Real Estate publication. Andy is a frequent speaker on issues affecting the real estate market and has also authored numerous articles for internal clients and national real estate publications. Andy also forecasts market performance for PwC’s “Real Estate Investor Survey”. Andy has over 30 years of experience in all aspect of commercial and residential real estate research. Andy has performed and managed real estate fundamental analysis and forecasting, portfolio construction, and buy/sell decisions for both debt and equity clients. Prior to assuming his current role, Andy served as the Managing Director of Real Estate Research for Principal Global Investors, a top 10 institutional real estate manager in the U.S. At Principal, Andy held a progressive level of analyst and management positions over his 25 year career and served as a voting and advisory member on a multiple real estate debt and equity investment funds. Andy has earned the CFA designation and is a Counselor of Real Estate. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute Research Forum as well as a participating member of ICSC, NCREIF, NAIOP, the Appraisal Institute and the CCIM institute.
