With some tech companies looking at work-from-home as a permanent solution, others in banking threatening to dramatically rethink their space requirements, and analysts across the board predicting a fundamental shift in the way occupiers of the future will use space, we ask: is the office extinct?

    Roddy Allan

    Chief Research Officer, Asia Pacific, JLL

    Roddy Allan joined JLL in 2007 and in October 2019 was appointed as Chief Research Officer – Asia Pacific. In this role, Roddy leads a team of over 170 professional researchers in the region, which forms part of a network of over 400 researchers in 65 countries around the globe. In his role, Roddy works directly with major direct and indirect regional investors across the region assisting them with their key research needs to support their investment strategies and market reporting. In addition to this, Roddy also focuses heavily on JLL’s Asia Pacific research consulting, data methodology and reporting. Roddy has advised on capital allocation in excess of USD 8 billion over the last 24 months. He has also led key asset disposal advisory and authored strategic fundraising material for third party investors.
