ULI's Water Wise Development Coalition Meeting on Data Center Best Practices
ULI’s Water Wise Development Coalition convenes land use and real estate professionals with public sector decisionmakers to advance water-smart real estate development and supportive policies. Those who are interested in participating can complete this interest form and will be added to the invite list. It is free to participate in the coalition’s quarterly virtual meetings and participants have a say in meeting topics.
This virtual coalition meeting is on February 11th from 3-4:30pm EST and will feature guest speakers who will provide best practices on data center development, especially related to water and energy. Speakers include:
- Howard Neukrug, Executive Director, and Brenton McCloskey, Director of Strategic Development and Communications for the Water Center at the University of Pennsylvania, on the Water-AI Nexus Center of Excellence and principles for sustainable water use by data centers
- Laura Meadors, Senior Manager of Global Sustainability Programs for Apple, on data center best practices employed by Apple
- Sarah Welton, Director of the GRESB Foundation, on the iMasons-GRESB Data Centers Working Group and data center standards under development
Following the presentations, the meeting will include Q&A, group discussion, and resource sharing. We hope you will join us!
