We’re getting more and more excited for our program, Raising the Bar for Colorado Design and Development, taking place on Wednesday, April 25, from 3-7pm at the Denver Art Museum and The Art Hotel.
In anticipation of the event, our moderator Chris Waggett sat down for a short conversation regarding his views on design with ULI Young Leader and Partnership Forum participant, Nate Baumgart.
Chris Waggett will be moderating our 4/25 program, taking place at the Denver Art Museum, He has ~33 years’ experience working in the UK, Europe, Australia, and the USA, in both Development and Funds Management, with sector experience in industrial, business-park, CBD office, apartment, condominium, single family residential, and master planned community development, as well as operational experience within the age-restricted/senior living sector.
Chris moved to USA in the Fall of 2006 but following the Global Financial Crisis in 2009 he left corporate life to establish D4 Urban LLC (“D4”) in February 2011 with local partners/landowners.
Chris is the Operating Partner and CEO responsible for the establishment of D4 and securing its initial projects as catalysts for the re-development of the iconic ~70 acre, Denver Design District and associated properties
Nate Baumgart is a Portfolio Manager with Pinnacle Real Estate Management and a participant in ULI Colorado’s Partnership Forum, a program that connects young leaders with senior professionals to discuss land use issues, career development, and projects in a confidential setting. Each ULI YLG Partnership Forum consists of 8-10 YLG participants, moderated by a ULI member who is a senior real estate professional
